Measuring
To ensure your custom wallpaper fits perfectly, follow these simple measurement steps:
1. Standard Wall: Measure the full width at the widest point and the height at the tallest point, excluding edge boards or coving. Add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to both dimensions for easier installation.
2. Multiple Walls: For adjacent walls, combine their widths and treat them as one continuous surface. Add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to your total measurement.
3. Wall with Obstacles (e.g., doors or windows): Ignore obstacles and measure the full width and height of the wall. We will cut around any obstacles during installation. Add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) for flexibility.
4. Sloped Walls: Measure as if the wall were rectangular, ignoring the slope. The excess will be cut away during installation. Add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) to your measurements.
5. Stairs: Measure the vertical height from the highest point to the lowest point, and the horizontal width of the stairs (not the diagonal length). Add 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) for flexibility.
By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure a perfect fit for your wallpaper mural, tailored to your space.
